2003 Year in Review:
This was the first year photography began to capture my interest. I started learning by doing early in the year, especially when my studio course took a trip to Seattle. Then that summer, I took advantage of the study abroad program while at the University of Oregon
Architecture School. I spent about a month and a half there with weekend stints to Florence and Cinque Terre before travelling across Europe; to Barcelona, Munich, Amsterdam, Paris, Salisbury, and London. I had an insanely dumbed-down Olympus D360L which options basically include the shutter and on/off. But I started learning composition and did what I could with the equipment I had. Despite these limitations, I was hooked.
