Just a tease of the Great Wall. It was fairly foggy that day. You can see the loss of definition in the hills beyond, but it was much foggier than the photo shows. In the RAW dialogue in Photoshop, I pushed the exposure up to effectively ISO 200 (shot in ISO 100), and deepened the shadows, which helps decrease the fog. I've never worked at trying to eliminate heavy fog or haze before, but next time I encounter it, I think I'll try to overexpose a bit so I can retain a lower ISO setting (if I want less fog) and then deepen the shadows in the digital darkroom. Not sure if that would actually work.
